Dr. Harpreet Arora

Urogynaecologist & Robotic Surgeon

Dr Harpreet Arora is an accredited Uro-Gynaecologist and an advanced laparoscopic surgeon, with staff appointment at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She also has admitting and operating rights at Prince of Wales, Mater Hospital, Northern beaches and North Shore Private Hospital. She is presently the Chair of laparoscopic/Robotic SIG committee for IUGA (International Urogynecology Association) where she is actively involved in teaching and conducting international webinars on pelvic floor issues.

She completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training from reputed centres in Melbourne and Brisbane. She trained at the Endoscopy unit, Royal Brisbane Women Hospital, and obtained competency in laparoscopic management of benign gynaecological conditions. After attaining her royal college fellowship in 2015, she undertook sub-speciality training in Urogynaecology at various national and international centres of excellence.

She specialises in vaginal and laparoscopic Urogynaecology and pelvic floor repair surgery for managing prolapse and incontinence. She has extensive experience in medical and surgical management of all benign gynaecological conditions such as fibroids, AUB and abnormal cervical cytology. She offers hysteroscopic resection and laparoscopic hysterectomy for fibroids and colposcopy for abnormal cervical cytology at the clinic.

At the clinics she offers consultative services and has provisions for outpatient investigational and therapeutic procedures (urodynamic studies, posterior tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS) etc.).

Dr Harpreet Arora is a Urogynaecologist, Pelvic Floor Reconstructive and Robotic  surgeon with staff appointment at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She also has admitting and operating rights at Mater Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital and Northern Beaches Hospital.

She undertook her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training  at The Royal Brisbane Women’s hospital and obtained her specialist qualification from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) in 2015. She did final year of advanced training at the Endoscopy unit, Royal Brisbane Women Hospital, and obtained competency in laparoscopic management of benign gynaecological conditions. Given her passion and commitment to Women’s health, she further pursued a 3 years speciality training program in Urogynaecology and Female Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney and New Zealand.

She has extensive experience in medical and surgical management of all benign gynaecological conditions such as fibroids, AUB and pelvic pain. She offers hysteroscopic resection and laparoscopic hysterectomy for fibroids. She specialises in vaginal and laparoscopic Urogynaecology and pelvic floor repair surgery for managing prolapse,  incontinence, bladder pain and complex pelvic floor issues.
